Why Adult Work Matters

Many adults carry invisible imprints of blame, burnout, or disconnection. Parents may have been told they are the problem. Professionals may feel overwhelmed and unsupported. Seekers may be navigating spiritual or ancestral healing without a safe way to ground the experience.

At Building Pathways, neurodivergence is understood in a broad and inclusive way. It can include ADHD/ADD, PTSD, autism, trauma histories, and other differences in how the nervous system experiences the world.

Neurodivergence is more than autism — it can also include trauma, ADHD/ADD, and sensory processing differences.

Who I Support

Parents & Caregivers

When you are resourced, co-regulation comes more naturally, and your child feels it.

This work is for anyone raising or caring for children, whether through birth, adoption, fostering, or other paths. Families are often blamed or misunderstood instead of supported. My focus is on your own nervous system healing. This is not about training or fixing. It is about compassionate support for how you experience your child.

When parents and caregivers feel seen, validated, and resourced, they find more connection at home and gain the strength to advocate for their children in schools and systems that may otherwise misinterpret them.

Professionals

Helping helpers reconnect to regulation so they can lead with compassion and authenticity.

This is meaningful work for teachers, therapists, healers, first responders, and caregivers who serve children or clients in their own roles. Many enter these professions with passion and heart but find themselves drained by the demands. Sessions help restore the nervous system so you can reconnect with your purpose and show up with clarity and presence.

Adults Navigating Nervous System Overload

Opening pathways from survival and long-term adaptation toward restoration, so daily life feels more possible, sustainable, and less overwhelming.

Many adults live with bodies and nervous systems shaped by long-term demand. This may include chronic pain, anxiety, fatigue, fibromyalgia, autoimmune conditions, or other ongoing health challenges — as well as neurodivergent adults navigating masking, burnout, late or new diagnosis, or years of adapting to environments that required constant self-monitoring.

While these experiences are often described as physical or cognitive, they also reflect nervous systems that have worked hard to survive, adapt, and remain functional under prolonged stress. Over time, this can lead to exhaustion, shutdown, loss of energy, or a sense of disconnection from self.

My role is to support you in restoring balance and reclaiming energy for what matters most. Sessions focus on nervous system regulation, pacing, and meaningful participation in self-care, home responsibilities, work, and community life. Through Brainspotting, sound-based protocols such as SSP and RRP, and gentle somatic tools, we create space for your nervous system to move from survival and constant adaptation toward restoration.

Seekers & Intergration

Supporting your nervous system as you walk with ancestors, plant teachers, and spirit.

Adults navigating spiritual work, entheogenic healing, or ancestral practices often need a safe way to ground those experiences. For the past ten years, I have walked with the wisdom of plant and animal medicines. I offer integration support so seekers can honor their journeys, weave them into daily life, and stay rooted in both spirit and body.

How I Work With Adults

Every nervous system holds wisdom. My role is to help you access that wisdom and discover new ways of engaging in daily life. My work integrates holistic occupational therapy with somatic and sound-based approaches, always centering your ability to participate in the routines and roles that matter most.

Brainspotting and Somatic Healing – A gentle, focused method to access the body’s wisdom, reduce stress or pain, and restore presence for daily participation.

Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) – A sound-based program that rewires safety at the nervous system level, improving resilience, energy, and social connection to support work, relationships, and community life.

Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP) – Deep, calming sound support that replenishes balance and restorative energy, especially for those managing fatigue or chronic illness, so you can show up more fully in your daily roles.

Consultation and Guidance – Individualized support that draws on OT’s functional lens, helping parents, professionals, and adults with health challenges weave regulation strategies into daily routines, work responsibilities, and caregiving.

Integration Sessions – Supporting seekers in carrying the gifts of ancestral, spiritual, or plant medicine healing into everyday life in ways that are embodied and sustainable.

My Approach

I practice holistic occupational therapy, guided by an Indigenous worldview where body, mind, spirit, and community are inseparable. Every survival response: fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown is honored as wisdom that has carried you through. Nothing about you is broken or wrong.

Occupational therapy is about more than function, it is about restoring the capacity to participate meaningfully in life. My approach is neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed, always centering safety, connection, and dignity. Rather than asking you to mask, push through, or perform, we create space for your nervous system to regulate, your strengths to emerge, and your daily life to feel more possible.

What to Expect

Every session begins with creating safety and pacing with care. Some days may focus on grounding and regulation, while others open into deeper release or integration. There is no single way to heal.

Together, we follow the threads of your story as they are held in the body. Healing is not linear but a spiral, weaving together survival, resilience, ancestry, and new possibilities into one cloth. Each session adds to this weaving, helping your nervous system integrate experience into something stronger and more whole.

Sessions may include Brainspotting, SSP, RRP, or practical OT-based strategies. Each step is tailored to your needs, always connected to supporting participation in what matters most to your life.

Healing here is not about fixing. It is about remembering your strength and weaving your story into a pattern that carries you forward with balance and presence.

Next Steps
Glitch Butterfly in Nature

Your healing is part of a larger journey. Every step you take toward regulation creates new pathways — pathways for connection, for safety, and for transformation in daily life.

At Building Pathways, I walk with you as you restore balance and reclaim your capacity to live, parent, work, and connect from a place of strength. Transformation begins with one nervous system at a time, and yours matters.
